our 3 fav ways to get out of a summer slump, trueform style !!! ☀️

we’ve all been there—summer starts strong with iced matchas, beachy playlists, and good intentions... and then out of nowhere, the slump hits. the heat feels extra hot, the motivation dips, and suddenly you're spending more time scrolling than sweating. x

but don’t worry—if you’re feeling blah this season, we got you. it’s all about having the mindset of “i GET to do this” not “i HAVE to do this.” it’s time to get back in those good summer vibes !!!

here are our 3 go-to ways to reset, recharge, and get back to feeling like your best self this summer:

1. move your body, but make it fun
when you’re in a slump, intense workouts can feel like too much. so instead of forcing yourself into something that drains you, try something that brings joy back into movement. bc let’s be real, how lucky are we that we get to move our body !!!
a quick lagree class with your bestie? walk around your fave neighborhood with a fun podcast? dancing around your kitchen with your dog? yes. yes. and yes.
the goal isn’t perfection—it’s getting your energy flowing again and reminding yourself that movement = medicine.

2. switch up your space
sometimes you just need a little change of scenery !!! take yourself on a lil solo adventure. try journaling at a park, bring your laptop to a new coffee shop, or read a book by the pool. it doesn’t have to be aesthetic, just intentional.
our vibe shifts when our environment shifts.
a fresh space = a fresh start. it really is that simple.

3. create one lil thing to look forward to
slumps thrive when our days feel repetitive. so plan one thing this week that makes you excited to get out of bed—maybe it’s a tuesday morning lagree class, a saturday farmers market run, meeting your friends for a post-work smoothie date, or going to church with your fam on sunday morning.
when you’ve got something on the calendar that’s just for you, your whole week starts to feel better.

slumps are normal. they don’t mean you’ve fallen off track, and they don’t last forever. just remember to keep going, and understand that you CAN do this.
